Congragulations to Jackie K and Justine K who won first and second prizes, consecutively, at this year's Young Writers Fair at Career Connections on February 29th. Congratulations Ladies!!!
Congratulations Zane G!!! The Third Annual Good Shepard School Spelling Bee was held on April 26, 2008. Nine schools were represented in this Spelling Bee. Zane and Alex N represented Word of God School. Zane took First place and the $100.00 prizee.

Did you know that we have 19 Word of God School alumni who are now attending Central Catholic who made Honor Roll, 11 are on Honor Roll and 8 made High Honor Roll!!!
Tess M. won the Allegheny College Trustee's Scholarship. Tess will continue her education with her focus on Environmental Science and Environmental Writing. Congratulations Tess!!
Michael F. received the Mike Kelley Scholarship for outstanding performance and sportsmanship on and off of the Court and wa ganted via the CYM basketball program. Congratulations Michael!!
John P. J. is the 2008 Winner of the St. Timothy's Award. This award is given to outstanding Catholic teens who exemplify Christian leadership in youth, wok within the diocese and who exemplify the qualities of moral integrity, prayer and good works. This is a very high honor!!! Congratulations John P. J.
