In music class students are given an opportunity, to not only sing and play some types of instruments but to discover how music is connected to all subject areas and world around us. As part of that, students also learn what elements make up music, how and where music came from and how it had developed, over the years, in style and through technology. Music reinforces math skills through counting notes and, most importantly, students are given the opportunity to express themselves and be creative through different projects, class activities and projects.
