Watt Do You Know comes to Word of God Catholic School

100 students in fourth through  7^th grade  participated in Duquesne Lights educational program, “Watt Do You Know?’ For 65 minutes, on April 15^th, the gym was transformed with lights, music and a game show stage. 20 students were  chosen to compete in teams of three, answering questions about energy, recycling, and “green” living.  The game was a tic-tac-toe board. Correct answers gave the contestants a chance to place their X or O on the board.  Three in a row  decided the winners!  All contestants were given a program tee shirt and the winning teams won Pirate tickets.  This format provided the students with a fun way to learn about the importance of energy in their  lives
